The WSF AI Competition is an AI-first STEM program under World STEM Federation. Students build with AI, log every turn, and judges score real engineering, not whether a model was used.
How the competition works

Create your student account
Sign up as a student, complete onboarding, and link your school if you have one.
Step 02
Form or join a team
Create a team with a join code or join an existing team before the competition window closes.
Step 03
Build during Build Week
Use AI tools freely while logging every prompt and response as evidence in Submission Studio.
Step 04
Submit before the deadline
Finalize your entry narrative, AI log, and supporting links. Submitted entries become read-only.

Participation rules
Team creation, Submission Studio, and MyWSF identity are limited to student accounts for this release.
Every AI interaction must be recorded in the submission log. Judges evaluate engineering quality, not whether AI was used.
Each student may belong to one competition team. Join codes and team membership are enforced server-side.
Drafts can be saved until the published deadline. Submitted entries are read-only and cannot be edited afterward.
